My name is Madisyn Dunn. I am 18 years old, and I am an Early Childhood Education student who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning, well-being, and development. I believe that children are capable, curious, and full of potential, and I value creating environments where they feel safe, respected, and joyful.
I am particularly interested in play-based learning and creating strong, trusting relationships with children and their families. I enjoy noticing children’s interests and supporting their learning through meaningful experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, and collaboration. I strive to be a patient, reflective, and caring educator who listens carefully to children’s voices.
Through my first practicum experiences, I have learned the importance of being flexible and attentive throughout the day. I value working as part of a team and learning from my mentor educators. I am committed to constant learning and reflection, and I understand the importance of creating inclusive environments that respect diverse cultures, abilities, and family backgrounds.
